Position: Internet Marketing Specialist

The ideal candidate would have:

• Proven track record of online marketing success
• Experience with websites which utilize e-commerce functions
• Thorough understanding of channel marketing strategy and programs including: Affiliate Referral Programs, Pay Per Click (PPC) programs, Viral marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), email campaigns
• Experience with data analysis, tracking conversion rates, analyzing web traffic, keywords, etc.
• Understanding of HTML, experience with Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, etc.

The person in this position will be responsible for providing the following services to our clients:

• Developing, collaborating on and executing the organization's Internet marketing strategy and all associated programs and campaigns.
• Continually seeking out and developing new ways to drive Internet traffic and revenue.
• Continually analyzing and reporting on all aspects of performance.
• Initiating multiple paid search marketing programs as well as monitoring web usage and providing statistical reporting.

Position: Web Analyst

Tachyon Solutions has an opening for a web analyst within our analytics and business intelligence practice group. The web analyst is responsible for performing data analysis on website and e-marketing activities and serves to support existing client relationships.

The web analyst will analyze multiple data sources, aggregate findings, create client reports and work within a cross-functional team environment to identify opportunities and form recommendations with direction from project leads. The analyst is expected to maintain awareness of past deliverables and account history. Candidates must be proactive, detail oriented and possess strong time management, written and oral communication skills (including presentation). Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must. The ability to recognize and solve data problems and inconsistencies will be particularly beneficial.

The ideal candidate has a marketing or business background, experience in web strategy and is proficient with data analysis. Although development, relational database and technical experience are not priorities, technical aptitude and a high quality of thinking are expected.

Position Requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with online metrics and terminology

Ideal Candidates would have:

• Experience with web analytic tools

Position: Software Engineer

Tachyon Solutions seeks a J2EE Developer who will serve as a technical consultant and a member of our client engagement team(s). The successful candidate will be responsible for design, development, implementation and integration of Java based solutions. Specific responsibilities will depend on an individual's experience and the client's engagement requirements, but will likely include:

• Active participation through all phases of the development lifecycle
• Transformation of customer business requirements, typically documented as use cases, into a comprehensive solution using the appropriate methods, tools and technologies
• Lead/participation in the design of application components and system integration plans
• Incorporation of requirements for legacy systems integration and security requirements into design o Development of both server-side and client-side Java solutions
• Creation and execution of unit, integration and system test plans
• Serving as a mentor/technical lead to Tachyon Solutions and/or client technical resources on an engagement
• Development of design and/or other related technical documentation
• Definition of scope/estimates for development activities

Position Requirements

• Experience with object oriented server-side development and object oriented design
• Strong experience in software development
• Experience with Java and J2EE technologies particularly Enterprise Java Beans (EJB)
• Experience with client-side development (JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, XSL)
• Service Oriented and N-tier architectures

Beneficial, but Not Required:

• XML parsing and transformation, including Web Services
• Java Application Servers such as IBM WebSphere
• Experience on high availability, applications with a large user base
• Knowledge of high-level IT enterprise systems and systems planning
• Development experience with JDBC, this includes strong SQL skills and database experience, specifically with DB2 or Oracle technologies
